regarding patch requirement and about project idea (User-friendly internet-apps)

Hello,
I have completed the patch requirement as mentioned in the guidelines given
on the link "https://www.nsnam.org/wiki/GSOC2017PatchRequirement" . I have
modified the output to form an output like the "Evolution of the time
congestion window in time series format". My doubt is that i have got the
output i the given format but my output is little different from that given
in the example there. So i want to ask that do the output needs to be
exactly same as given in the example. Because my output is coming is the
given but the size of tcp congestion window as I got is not same as that
given in the dummy example.Also, Do I have only to give the link in
proposal directly? No reviews are required for that?
Secondly, I am interested in the project idea of the "User-friendly
internet-apps
" , but i wanted to ask what are the reading materials i should refer to
and the idea that is given in the list is not so clear what do to be done.
It is given there is a abstract manner. So kindly please elaborate the
project what exactly i have to do, and what things i have to implement
there in the idea . Also please guide me so that I know what i have to
propose in this project.Can you please also guide to what should be done in
the proposal for this project idea.

This project idea is about developing an extremely easy-to-use ns-3 ping
app.  The basic idea is that, while there already exists a ping
capability in ns-3, ping could be easier to use and could have more
features.  If ping is successfully tackled, there are other similar
utility apps (iperf, netperf) that could be handled similarly.  I am
reluctant to post too many of my ideas about how exactly to implement
this because we are looking for students in this project who have the
networking and ns-3 expertise to propose and defend their API design.  
So a first step is probably to read the ping man page and study its
output, then look at ns-3's implementation and try to insert ping into
some of the example programs, and get a feel for how it works now, and
for what the gap is between the user experience of someone on a real
system and the user experience in ns-3.
